Melina’s Bio

Melina Rorie Slotnick is the founder of Swimmerman Swim Schools in Atlanta, Georgia. Melina has been actively pursuing the best way to communicate the language of the water to her students and staff since she began teaching at the age of 15. But it was a very near tragic experience at the age of 6 that triggered her endless pursuit to befriend and understand the water from a very personal perspective.

A native of Dallas, Texas, Melina soon found herself packing her bags and heading to Europe to marry her Army man. Mike and Melina were married in Denmark, lived in Germany, United Kingdom and all across the USA. After raising their two children it became obvious that Swimmerman too was part of their family.
