Begin the section by explaining to the students the importance of passing in Korfball. Highlight that effective passing is crucial for maintaining possession and creating scoring opportunities. Emphasize the three types of passes they will be learning: chest passes, bounce passes, and overhead passes.

Start with the chest pass. Demonstrate the proper technique, ensuring that students understand the need to use both hands, keep their elbows close to their body, and follow through with their hands pointing towards the target. Pair the students up and have them practice chest passes with each other, focusing on accuracy and form.

Next, introduce the bounce pass. Explain that this pass can be useful for getting the ball past a defender. Demonstrate how to push the ball towards the ground at an angle so that it bounces up to the receiver. Again, have the students practice in pairs, ensuring they aim the bounce to land about two-thirds of the distance to their partner.

Finally, cover the overhead pass. Show the students how to hold the ball above their head with both hands and throw it in a straight line to their partner. Highlight the importance of using this pass when they need to get the ball to a teammate over a long distance or over the heads of defenders. Allow the students to practice this pass, focusing on strength and accuracy.

Throughout the drills, move around the group to provide individual feedback, correcting any mistakes and encouraging proper technique. Praise the students for their efforts and improvements, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.

Conclude the passing drills by gathering the students and summarizing the key points. Reinforce the importance of each type of pass and how they can be used in different game situations. Ensure the students feel confident in their ability to execute these passes before moving on to the next part of the lesson.
